Abby, who is a math teacher at Lincoln Senior High School in Des Moines, shared a strong message about parents’ roles in their children’s education on Facebook. Abby posted a photograph of some school supplies and told the tale of an encounter he’d had that day. “This is just ridiculous, I don’t know how these teachers think we are supposed to get all of this stuff,” the mother and father said. “As they complained, they appeared to be oblivious to the fact that my cart was full of a category set of all of the supplies they were buying … which should have already been a pretty clear indication i was one of those particular greedy teachers these people were complaining about,” Michael wrote inside the post.
